I’m planning on hooking up an external monitor to my T60, and I want to be able to put it into standby mode and wake it up (my pressing a keystroke or moving the mouse) without having to open the lid of my laptop and pressing the power button. Apparently, in the Device Manager, under the HID-compliant mouse or keyboard device properties, should be a ’Power Management’ tab that allows you to check or uncheck an option: ’Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby’. Unfortunately, this tab doesnt show up for my mouse or keyboard (next to the General, Driver, and Details tabs). I have a Logitech VX Revolution mouse and a Logitech G15 keyboard, with all the drivers loaded.
